Joseph Rojas has dedicated the last thirteen years of his life testifying for Christ and sharing the life-changing impact of his own salvation. God has used Joseph’s testimony and music to change the lives of so many. He comes from a self-destructive drug addiction, a near prison sentence, and a close brush with death. He understands what it means to feel hopeless and broken. But he also understands what it means to be accepted by a King and loved by the creator of the universe. His mission is to point hurting people to the truth of Jesus Christ.
Joseph travels on the road most of the year, conducting over hundreds of concerts and playing in front of thousands of people. Over 100,000 people have made decisions for Christ at his concerts. Seventh Day Slumber is about being real, and connecting with people where they’re at. As a keynote speaker Joseph speaks at concerts, conferences, youth groups, festivals, and various events. Sharing with others his message of hope and restoration, which he has experienced first hand.
Joseph also hosts a weekly syndicated radio show, The Joseph Rojas Show, which is broadcasted worldwide. Joseph talks about relevant issues happening in the lives of so many and takes calls from listeners making the show interactive and relatable.
Joseph has been fortunate to have many proud moments in his career. In 2011, the Mayor and members of the City Council of Victorville, California presented Joseph with a plaque. They recognized Joseph as an inspiration to others through his personal triumphs, music, and Christian faith. The Mayor states that they witnessed a miracle happen in Joseph’s life.
Yet another impressive milestone for his band Seventh Day Slumber was when their CD Rescatame was named “Best Spanish Language Album” at the 40th Annual Gospel Music Association Dove Awards ceremony.
